While recording I noticed that some parts of the video feedback screen seemed to be 'more red' so I decided to just shoot a whole bunch of the forrest's tree tops from below to see what would show up in editing and I wasn't disappointed with my choice. Not only did I record tons of 'red haze' in the tree branches but I also captured light flashes associated with the haze as well as sounds and some orange haze in certain areas.
Even though you can't really see exactly what's happening here just by looking at the stills from the video you do get a good still view of the colors that are being exhibited in the tree branches. Then once you watch the video you begin to clearly understand that the red haze may actually be 'alive', moving around and reacting!
A wild tree growth / carving that represents some kind of alien / demon was the entire reason investigation in this area started in the first place and the next chapter shows it along with some others.
